Gorgeous hotel, staff were kind and rooms were fabulous. I was there for 1 night and ate at gourmet restaurant for dinner. The location was stunning, away from the stream of water, it's a plus.

Charming escape in Normandy 🇫🇷

The restaurant served such lekker food-took me straight to foodie heaven! Plus, waking up to a beautiful view and a solid brekkie selection every morning was a major win. Staff were warm and friendly.

Only issue was the shower-it took some getting used to with the bath set-up, but I guess it's not a biggie.

Excellent facility in beautiful small French village. Close to D-day beaches.

These are two beautiful, traditional french hotels, set in beautifully pretty and peaceful surroundings. The staff at Ferme de la Ranconniere were very helpful, and spoke very good English.Our room - a Junior Suite a short drive away at the Manoir de Mathan - was spotlessly clean and comfortable, decorated with traditional French furnishings and exposed wooden beams. There was also a mini fridge and tea making facilities included. The breakfast was plentiful, however at the Manoir de Mathan where we stayed it was a case of find out for yourself as there is no-one around to help you, which may have been better. It is ideally located to visit the Bayeux Tapestry and market, and the coastal D-Day commemorative beaches and memorials. A car is a must though as it is off the beaten track, however it is easily reached from Ouistreham car ferry.

A charming stay in the beautiful countryside

I loved my time here! The beautifully maintained surroundings made for a picturesque setting, and our Superior Double Room was both spacious and comfortable with excellent bedding. Breakfast was nice, though a bit on the pricey side at €16 each. I wouldn't mind a bit more variety in the breakfast options next time, but overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

Location was excellent, large room . Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Very good location for visiting War Memorials etc.

Historic large fortified farmhouse in a peaceful rural location. Room tastefully fitted in traditional style with modern facilities. Food excellent and well presented.

Excellent cuisine, beautiful garden, great location for exploring Normandy. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Very Romantic to live amongst those old walls.

charming countryside escape with minor drawbacks

The beautiful double room offered lovely character with really good bedding. The stylish decor throughout the hotel, including the inviting bar area, added a special touch. The gardens provided a peaceful oasis. The breakfast spread was plentiful and delicious, giving a good start to each day.

The Wi-Fi connection was somewhat unreliable, which can be troublesome for those needing the internet.

We were lucky to find this hotel while travelling in the north of France. Very cozy and beautiful villa with comfortable rooms and location in the french countryside and near a few towns by car, It wasn\t season and cost cheap
